Has anyone been on a 'Track Day'? Are they worth the money? I am thinking of buying a 'Rally' one for my boyfriend's birthday.

I know that a similar question was asked quite recently:

But didn't a lot of answers...

Can't say whether your bloke will like them or not,but son had a track day in his car, a go kart one and askid pan day and enjoyed every one. If he likes motoring, then he probably will
Depends wether he is a decent driver or not but if he is half decent and is an experienced driver he should enjoy it.

I love hurling my caterham around on track days and I am 65.

there is a big difference between track days and driving experience days though, a track day consists of something like 50-100 laps in your own car, on the driving experience there is a lot less actual driving.
track days are great- as said above- if your boyfriend can actually drive anyway,

torque, understeer, oversteer, redline, drift,

if he knows what these mean buy it , if he doesnt , dont.

Sorry - I did mean a 'Driving Experience' rather than a track day with his own car...
I know that he would love anything involving driving - and he's an excellent driver - it's just that I can see you don't seem to get a lot of actual driving time.
I think I'll get him one where drive and then you get taken round by a pro driver at the end (show you how it's done) because I think he'd love that too.

Thanks to all of you.
