Corsa Steering noise

I have a 51 plate Corsa and I've noticed that when I turn near full lock, left or right there is a banging sound as if the wheel is clipping something in the arch. Does anyone know what this problem might be and how it could be rectified?

32,000 miles, one front tyre is brand new, other is original tyre with loads of tread left.

It sounds like it the wheels making the noise, does sound like a knocking yeah. As though they've been turned too much and are catching i suppose.

No it was there before the new tyre. I cant be certain but the new tyre might have reduced the problem. I cant be certain though as its still really loud.
