Just got a second hand 1995 Clio RSi, the accelaration seems abit sluggish and I was wondering if theres anything I can do to make it smoother and more responsive?

Also it seems alittle bit noiser than I'm used to in my old car (exhaust has been checked and is fine) than I'm used to from my old car but was wondering if this is because its an RSi. It's really only when its accelerating, when I'm going 30 mph or above it settles down.

Hi viky, I wqas going to suggest the Renault forum but I see your already there, welcome to the forum.

Search the tuning section.
try a petrol treament to clean the carbureter.
it should improve the acceleration and isn't to costley
