Astra G CD Player fault

Hey guys,

I have just bought a new Astra G (51 Plate) and am having problems with the cd player.

It is not taking cd's manually( i.e pulling them in), and when forced in it is saying no cd, then draining the battery.

Is this a simple fault or will I need a new cd player?
