I have an intermittent problem. Most of the time the car performs O.K., then sometimes when it is started in the morning, the tickover gets slower and slower until it does about 200 revs. At this point there are insufficient revs to move the car, and when the throttle is depressed either nothing happens or the engine stalls. After a short period of up to about 5 mins. the car performs as normal. Occasionally, when driving along, the engine will cough and sometimes lose power for about 30 sec. before it corrects itself.
Has anybody come across such a problem and if so what could be the remedy. Thanks
