do the later vespa t5 classics (round headlight) have the same 125 engine as in the earlier t5's?(square headlight)

Yes mate, all t5's have the same engines, apart from the t5 millenium, which was ever so slightly modified. They'll still keep up with PX200's - great buy! But the t5 mk1's have that trick rev counter!
