recently i was reversed into by another car. we were both insured and he claimed liability. i am now waiting for the settlement to come through. my car was written off for a dent in the drivers door, even thougfh i got an M.O.T with the damage. i was wondering if you can keep the car and do it back up rather than have to get a new car. the bloke who hit mes insurance company said i can have the car, but what stipulations occur when a car is written off. do i have to re-registrer it after gettin it fixed? or can i get it fixed and drive off.
