the plug leads go down the back of the engine to the ignition pack. they dont actually disappear. but they are awkward little sods to get off if you dont know what you are doing. they have plastic clips that keep them from falling out. why are you only changing one?
Yeah, Jack up the car and put on to axle stands or drive on to ramps, this will give access to disributor from underneath the car, they are virtually impossible to get at from the engine bay.
ive never seen a distributor on a ford ka.
Jeez !!! There's always one, instead of being pedantic and a smartass why didn't you give tfs a better answer on how to change 'one' HT lead ? he obviously is not as wise as you, what do you do ? ask him why he's changing only 'one', well maybe just 'one' has broken down or he's got just 'one' to replace the 'one' that's not working, either way you're that clever you tell him what he already knows ........... " they're awkward little sods to get off ", hmmmm now that's useful. !!!
there is no distributor on a ford ka and thats a fact so why mislead people . im sorry it upsets you that i know my job. generally speaking leads come in a set so why would you bother just changing one. a perfectly valid question. also tfs did not already know they were akward sods to get off because he didnt even know where the ends of the leads went. so up yours her bruce.
