I am looking to hire a truck for 1 week in July...can anyone point me in the direction of a possible supplier? Need a 7.5 tonne mega cube (verrrry long) or 18 tonne, long box vehicle. O' Licence and insurance not a problem. Not many mega cubes around I know and 18 tonners tend to be a little short. Ideally in Midlands but will travel to collect if needs be.
Any advice appreciated.

The Midlands is a huge area, plenty of truck hire.

Can you be more specific re location?
PFB have depots in Birmingham, Wednesbury & Nottingham. They have 7.5 tonne megacubes with an internal length of 8.52 metres:

Thanks for the replies, I'm based in Nottingham so as near as possible to East Mids but not a problem if distance involved.
Had hoped to use PFB but they have all trucks booked out on contract hire unfortunately.
Thanks again.
If distance isn't too much of a problem, you could try Conference Logistics, in Surrey. As their name suggests, they specialise in transport for the events industry but they'll hire you almost any type of truck, including megacubes:

Here's another possibility:

Otis Vehicle Rentals are based at Rowley Regis (W. Midlands). Their vehicles include 7.5 tonnes( with 24' box) and 18 tonnes (with 28' box):
