hum ok fair enough but would be interesting to see what happens in the future as oil prices get ever higher, will formula one still retain its appeal. I used to like it many years ago but has just become so boring recently.

The cost of fuel and oil is totaly irrelavent in formula 1.

Ferrari spend around 180 million running their team with 2 drivers for one year.

If you are thinking of the Global Warming bit then the energy used to make the hundreds of tyres must be astronomical. The most exciting thing about F1 is now the pit stop thats how pathetic it is now and Jenson Button is the no hope Brit who will never ever be World Champion or after a 100 races probably not win one.like our equally useless Tim Henman. I know you did not ask but MotoGP or Superbikes is real racing
