Hi,

I've got a 2000 model vauxhall astra. I have bought a VDO CD 441 XED head unit which is designed to slip directly into the existing vauxhall wiring.

Ive also decided to buy the CDO Dayton CHM 604 MP3 CD Changer which replaces the standard cd changer for my headunit. I've been told I will need an adaptor for this specific cd changer. Is this true? If so, does anyone know how it would be fitted?

At the moment the fitting was simply sliding the old head unit out and slididng the new one in. But this adaptor for the CD changer would complicate matters a little. I really want to avoid paying for someone to fit it.

Many thanks,
