If you are going to start doing work/sevicing on your car then I would suggest you go to Halfords and buy a workshop manual for your car.

It is an easy job to do but the manual will explain exactly how to do this.

You will need extra tools and something to lift the car so you can get under the engine, always have safety in mind as people have died doing a simple thing like an oil change!

Go to Kwik-Fit or National Tyres and get it done (including filter) for about 24 quid.
If you put the correct quality oil in your engine it will cost you 24 just for the oil! some places will put anything in, thats why there cheap!

You could be right, Toureman, but on the other hand could it be bulk buying ? Five litres of Mobil 1 from Costco costs about 16 ( I think). I get Kwik Fit to change my oils and filters every three months or 3,000 miles and the engines seem to thrive.

Anyone here works for Kwik Fit who can enlighten us on the quality of their oil ? I would be interested.

Hi I enquired about workshop manual for New 04 Corsa and was told Haynes Manual was not available now or in the near future.
