Where exactly is the fuel pump

I have Volvo S40 which could not start today. Engine turned over. checked fuel not reaching the engine. can someone tell me where is exactly the fuel pump located? My Volvo is S40 2.0 Automatic Petrol with P reg 1997

Not exactly sure about your model, but a lot of Volvo's have the fuel pump inside the petrol tank, immersed in the petrol, believe it or not!
