it wont rev past 3500 in 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th gear ive checked the air filter and it still wont rev past it what else could the problem be

Possibly fuel starvation by a blocked fuel filter or a knacked fuel pump.

could also be a blocked exhaust get sum1 to rev the car up while u feel if the is lots of pressure comin out the back or disconnect the exhaust at the cat if it still is the same dissconnect it b4 the cat (that could be the prob)
