Does anyone know if you can (and how) you replace the small gaiters that protect the slides which allow the Bendix calipers to move? There are splits on the gaiters, and I have a spare (but very grotty) caliper that has good gaiters on. They appear to be glued inside the caliper body. The calipers are on a Peugeot 205 (same as on Renault 5 and Citroen AX).

Thanks thebhoy. I didn't explain very well. The slides are fine, it's the slide gaiters that are split. The slides come out ok, but the gaiters appear a one-peice rubber item going right through the caliper body.and fixed there. It's these gaiters I want to replace.
they will prob be seized to the caliper use a small plain screwdriver try n prise the gaitor off they just sit inside the caliper
