I purchased a second hand ford escape that had no manual etc with it. It was only a matter of time before the battery was disconnected for some reason and the radio now needs its unlock code. I have managed to get the serial number from the radio M000493. Can anyone help me out with the code?

Same thing happened to me a few years ago and I think my local Ford dealer got me the code (while I waited). Seem to think they charged me a tenner but can't remember. Can't see you getting it any other way. This assumes it was a factory fitted radi of course!

Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago, someone on this site gave me code - just have patience and repeat in few days to catch their attention - he was most helpful
