On my Daewoo Nexia my Engine Management System Warning light comes on for about half a mile about once a Month. Is it anything to worry about as a Test costs 45. Many Thanks for any answers. I should mention it goes straight out after that distance.

As I recall, vauxhall engines have about thirty or so sensors on them which are connected o this warining light - it cold be something trivial, but i'm afraid that I would get it checked out. I've done it quite a few times by just going to a garage late in the afternoon or on a saturday morning and asking one of the lads there to just check it for me for a fiver - it only takes them a couple of mins and at least they get their breakfast paid for.
Forgot to say - it is unlikely to actually be a fault as this light is meant to stay on anyway - could either be faulty connection or sensor.
