How does the police in this country deal with foreign drivers in their own country of origin vehicle if they are caught speeding, undertaking, parking violation etc?

Simple answer is they don't. Because this country does not operate an on-the-spot fine system it is not profitable for the police to go to the trouble. They would much rather persecute the British motorist and maximise their income.

Any offender who cannot give an address in this country for a summons to be served, can be arrested and charged. The new law. where anyone can be arrested for anything, should make it even easier. It is then simple to get the offender in front of a special court. As scotstone says, they tend to look the other way because there are easier ways of earning a living.
