I wonder if someone can help me please? I am looking to hire an area of airfield/tarmac/concrete where I can hold a private car/bike training day for some friends and colleagues of mine. We are not after formal slots on an organised trackday, as I wish to put together a series of disciplines and small 'loops' using cones and the like, by way of allowing coaching and general driving skills practice. I am not a commercial organisation, although personally (in my spare time) I have coached and instructed Road and Racecraft courses at UK circuits and also at the Nurburgring, where I worked with Yamaha, Honda and other organisations as an Instructor.

I am having difficulty finding a suitable (small-ish) area of ground for such use. I imagine that I would host no more than 15-20 people maximum. This is not a for profit day,, merely an opportunity for some realy hands on coaching for a group of friends, many of whom are in dire need of help!

Can anyone help me at all, or perhaps recommend a location that may have such facilities available for small private hire please?

Ideally I would look to schedule for May this year if possible.

Many Thanks,
Phil

phil what area of the country are you in
Round our way (Northants.), you quite often see people doing CBT training and the like on car parks of offices on industrial estates, which are usually empty at the weekend. Have a cruise round and see if you can find a site you can 'borrow'. I don't think these people ask to use the car park or whatever, but you could phone the company concerned. Also seen them on local rugby/football club car parks as well.

Im in the South East, but anywhere that has a facility would be fine, but probably south of Manchester.
