Can anybody tell me what ECP stands for in relation to cars?

I used to work for ECP motors in Cheshunt - ECP in this case was Edwin Charles Prosser, better known to us as Ted. We used to call ourselves Prossers *******

Thanks for your try, the answer I was looking for was Electronic power control (to do with fly by wire I think )

I was in the motot trade for 15 years and have not heard of electronic power control - maybe fords never had it (or called it something else)
