My 1995 Micra wouldn't start. RAC came. Found spark plugs (new July '05) were corroded. He cleaned them and car started. Suggested I take it to garage for them to check what caused plugs to corrode. I did and they ran computer diagnostic testing and found no faults. However 4 days later it wouldn't start again. RAC came and got it started easily and found nothing wrong. Any ideas? Don't want to take it straight back to garage as their attitude was that there's nothing wrong with it....!

Assuming there is nothing wrong like water getting into the engine from the head gasket or fuel or burning excessive oil then you may have the wrong spark plugs fitted. The plugs need to be of the correct heat range and type for the engine. If the timing is out this can also overheat the plugs.

This is typical with newer cars, all garages connect their diagnostic equipment, this shows nothing wrong so they say there is nothing wrong.

Take your car back to them explain what happened and insist they take the spark plugs out and use their eyes to actualy look at them!

After all your car is nearly new.
