I have just had the car back from the garage and the battery has been replaced, thus I have a dead radio. I have the keycode, but no instruction manual, and to compound the issue, the LCD screen has been dead since I got the car. Can anyone help me in inputing the key code so I can get some sounds back on my trawl to work... Ta very muh y'all ... Clippy

Hey thanks Carol, I will !

Ok Clippy, lets eeif this will work for you

Switch on the radio- 'Code' (would appear in the display) Press preset button 1.

Press one of the two tuning buttons < > to select the first digit of the security code. ie. press once for one or twice for two.

Press preset button 1 to store the first digit in the unit's memory.

Use either < > tuning button to select the second digit of the code.

Press preset button 1 to store the second digit.

Select the third digit, again using the tuning buttons.

Press preset button 1 to store the third digit.

Select the final digit. Pres preset button 1 to store the final digit.

If the correct code has been entered, a double two-tone bleep will be heard and the radio will operate.

If an incorrect code is entered a warning tone will sound and the time delay period commences. DO NOT switch off, wait ten mins and try again. Good luck

Hell Carol does the manual give any indication as to whether the 1st indicated digit is a 0 or a 1. My code has a zero in it ? do i scroll through past nine or start at 0 cheers

Looks as if we've got different radios. These instructions only allow input of digits 1 - 9. (model R960)

If you try a dealership they might be able to pull up the info on their database, without you having to buy a new manual, which classed as a part would no doubt cost more than a new set! Worth a try at least.
