Some great ( and some not so great ) old car accessories on this link, some I remember and some I don't.
Can't understand why it wasn't the law to wear the 'Safety Felt Cap' I mean no more nasty head injuries wearing one of those and much more snazzier than a crash helmet on a motor bike.

I remember the Nenette.

So do I, Mamya.
Bet you had a sleeper conversion kit :-)
Question Author
I'm afraid when I needed one there was none available for a Ford Capri or Lotus Europa ( and that bloody gearstick was a nightmare ) :-(
Shame.
Question Author
It was, Mamya.
Did I see something there that could be coated on a car to make it hairy? Only I'd like to surprise Dave.
Question Author
Yes gness, Velvetex. I'm sure it would surprise Dave waking up to find that his bonnet needed a shave LOL.
Not as bad as waking up to find I needed a shave though, Tony.
Question Author
Mmmmmm, yeah. I'm sure that he could learn to live with an hairy bonnet.
I'm surprised not to see the can of ridiculously inflammable stuff that you sprayed into the air intake on cold mornings - it worked OK but turned your car into an EZ Start junkie that would then never catch without a quick spray.

Just had a Google and the damn stuff still exists !!

Handy instead of porridge some mornings Dave.
Question Author
LOL, I remember that stuff, Dave. Great stuff for setting a Ford on fire ( they never started in a cold winter ) 6 quid these days though, only about 50p in the 70's.

So - no change there then ...

[ I wonder how cold the shed is tonight ...
Bloody freezing!
Question Author
Well Dave, it's minus 1 here !
He’ll let you know in the morning once he’s defrosted.
You want me to start spoiling him? He can run around the field to warm up!
Question Author
LOL, not in bare feet though surely.
