A38 Alfreton Layby

Does anyone know if there is a layby near to Alfreton on the A38 heading north close to the M1 junction?

the only layby on the northbound side in that area is halfway between the junctions for B600 and Birchwood Lane, next to the railway bridge.

I don't know the area but what I always do in this sort of situation is to bring up Google Earth and follow the road. If you do that in your case you can see the lay-by that mushroom has pointed out with a lorry parked in it on the M1 side of the B600 intersection.
