I have a VW lt35 conversion which operates as a recovery truck, can anyone advise me of the correct tyre pressures for this vehicle or where I can possibly find the information, I have exhausted all search engines including VW's own website, thanx

I would imagine the tyre pressures are much the same as the standard vehicle. If you don't have a handbook then your local tyre dealer would probably help. If not then it can be gauged fairly accurately with a bit of trial and error by how they look and feel when the vehicle is fully loaded. If radials then a small sideways bulge at the bottom but not enough to look flat if you understand me. Fronts may need checking off load. If too soft the vehicle will wallow more and wear on the outside of the tread. Too hard and the vehicle may bounce, feel hard and wear on the middle of the tread but better to be slightly too hard than too soft. On that note I'll think I'll leave it!
