Just had mot and service on the car when I got back home checked the oil and found it still very black on the dipstick is it the type of oil peugot dealers use or do you think that the oil had not been changed. I thought if oil had been changed it is usually lighter and a bit clearer when first done.should I be concerned that the oil has not been changed.by the way it is a diesel engine.

Diesel engine oil does turn Black very very quickly.
I agree with tony....when we had two cars (one petrol, one diesel) the oil in the petrol one would look and smell "clean" for several weeks...that in the diesel would be dark - almost black- having done 15 miles from the servicing garage!
