C4 Picasso 2007 - Help With Wipers!

Hello

Occasionally when I switch off the ignition and lock the car my wipers immediately go to the vertical postion instead of the usual horizontal position!

This has happened only after I have used them on intermittent some time before switching off.

Is there a reason for this and what have I done wrong?

I think it is just a peculiarity of the car, nothing to worry about, our old Berlingo used to do the same. We have a 2012 C4 and we dont have that issue now.

If you don't want it occur try switching them off before turning off the ignition.

Think have found answer! Citroen told me that if there is a facility to change wiper blades with engine off by pressing down on stalk after switching off ignition and this puts the blades vertical for ease of changing!
