Citroen Xsara Chassis Number

I recently bought a citroen xsara at an auction but there is no registration document. On the form I have to send to the DVLA to get a new document I have to write down the chassis number. I have found this but I am not sure if the first and last letters are noughts or citroen symbols, any ideas please?

They usually start with "VF" Seventeen digits.

Check the VIN Plate under the bonnet, it should be just near the bonnet lock, regards bying a car with no V5, I have my own views.
