I don't know why I watch him anymore - he proper winds me up.
Hardly any of his tricks (and I use the term "trick", very loosley) use what I would call traditional magic (sleight of hand, etc) .... most of what I see, is mainly gimmicks (ok, some very cute ones), stooges and film editing.
I will admit that I'm into magic, so I know how a lot of tricks work, so that helps work things out.

If there are people out there wondering how certain tricks are done, I can tell you that with alot of Dynamo's "tricks", just think "gimmick" or "stooge".

Where's the true art of magic gone ???? People like Dynamo, David Blaine and Criss Angel just spoil it with the over-use of gimmicks, etc. Bring back the good ol' sleight of hand ......

One "trick" that springs to mind, is the one where he "walks" on the River Thames ...... oh c'mon plzzz ...... it's soooooooo obvious it's criminal !!!!

I to Gizmonster have dabbled in magic and I do agree with what you say, he is becoming a bit boring, I also have suspected camera editing and stooges, I think he can manipulate the cards, but he does rely on gimmicks, some of which can be very expensive.

Who is he?

I also think he's good with the cards. I've seen him do one or two tricks and I'll have to admit, I saw him do one and decided I liked it so much, I now do it myself. To the layman, it was an impressive trick, but to someone who knows the moves, it's fairly easy to work out how it was done ..... so I "borrowed" his trick hehe. I'm not knocking the trick, quite the contrary ..... it's just a shame he doesn't do more of the tricks with no gimmicks, etc.

@ Caran - forget about how the trick appeared to be totally impromptu (I can assure you, it wasn't) - how would you do this trick (you can use any gimmicks you need).
Just imagine you're at a pool of water and you want to walk across the surface of it - how would you achieve this with endless gimmicks at your disposal ??
Have a platform built under the water?
Walk on stilts?

The first one - especially if it's made of perspex - nice and clear in water eh ??
But it must have been a big one, did no one see it being set up.
Did he hypnotise himself to do it?
Question Author
That's the beauty of it - it's all done in privacy (work prob always going on in and around the Thames).
I don't have the details etc, but it's prob done a day or two in advance - maybe even longer ??
Then Dynamo appears one day and just appears to be walking on water. It's meant to appear to be impromptu, when in fact it's 100% prepared beforehand.
Was it too difficult a question?
I have always found a little magic can be a good ice breaker, on hols, a party, every one likes a little magic. I have a small round pill box type tin you show it to be empty put the lid on shake the tin it rattles, take the lid off and it is empty, any ideas Gizmonster?
