I just bought my 1st car i asked the guy to get me a full MOT but he gave me a certificate with no Stamp on it. I thinl its supposed to have this special print the words are raised through. Is my MOT invalid? SHould I go back.

Yes, I'd go back straight away.
The stamp is not printed, it is a pressed stamp on paper. Can you read the stamp? There should not be any ink, sounds normal to me.

MOTs are now computerised and printed on an A4 sized certificate. You can view examples of the old and new style here.

You can also check the validity of the certificate here.

If the print on the MoT is raised and you can make out what it say - name and address and reg. of MoT-er then it is legal.  But if you are still not sure take the MoT into a Police Station and have them check it out.

The worst that could happen is that you will have to get your car MoT-ed again - as you get older you get wiser.
