I seem to remember Goering's bullet proof car, going on show around England, just after WW2, could this be the same car?

Does anyone else remember such a car, it had bullet marks all over the front windscreen?

Sorry late in getting back to you, yes that seems to be the one I wonder whatever happened to it.

I am sure that the auctioneer was the sports commentator Raymond Glendenning, I liked the bit "going Goring gone", an appropriate touch.
AOG, if you google 'The Saga of the Blue Goose' there is a very detailed account from the 'literary club' of its confiscation and transfer.

An identical car was found in Russia 2 years ago by a British car trader, and thought to be worth £12m once restored.
