Cd Changer for rover

I have a Rover 400 with a built in Rover cassette player of model no. R860. I want to put a cd changer in my boot (or glove box) that is compatible with this unit. Not being techinally minded but is all right to put a Sony CDX-656 changer in and buy some adapters to suit the radio or do i have to buy a specific changer for the unit for it to work?

no i think u have to have sony with sony. ive never herd of puttin a cd changer on a casette, doesnt ur car stereo have to be a cd not casette?
