I will be driving through France, Belgium and Holland shortly and would like to know the comparative prices for a litre of unleaded in these countries to what we pay over here. Glad of any help.

I just checked a local Shell station here in Belgium:

Euro 95 = 1.245 per litre

Euro 98 = 1.319 per litre

Diesel = 1.033 per litre

You will find some places selling it cheaper (look out for DATS, for example, next to Colruyt supermarkets, or fuel at Makro).  On the motorway, prices will probably be as above.

I travelled down to the south of France on my motorbike earlier in the year, and paid just under a pound a litre for unleaded petrol, so its similar to what SteveD has posted.Its pretty much the same as it is at home. I live on the Essex/Herts border.
