The Peugeot HDi is either 90 BHP or 110 BHP.What causes the power increase, is  it fuel pump, ECU ?

What would I need to do (apart from notify my insurance company of course !!) to raise the output on my HDi from 90 to 110 BHP?

Any ideas welcome

Could be either the chip or maybe there's some other multipoint injector diesel equivalent.

Maybe an ideal to phone some specialists that deal with diesel engines to see if they know.
There are many ECU mods for diesels that will increase the rated power AND save petrol by remapping the ECU. Although the speed won't increase noticeably, the torque will and the delivery will be smoother.

Do a google on the model you have plus something like diesel performance chips or buy a magazine like "diesel car". You will need to tell your insurance company, but the results are very impressive. You can usually fit yourself if you are technically minded.
