The front passenger door remains locked even after unlocking the car using the fob. All other doors open OK. Furthermore the little door button does not rise above the panel soI can use that to 'force' it open. Has anyone got a suggestion on how I can get the door open or is it a visit to Landrover?

Thanks

Take the door card off ( the panel that covers the inside of the door) look in the area of the latch, if the connecting rods are in place it will either be a bad connection or the latch actuator, try taking the Electric plug off, the on that comes through the bodywork to the door, undo this plug and spray with WD40, then try.

Thanks TWR unfortunately the door is locked shut. I can't get to all the panel screws to take it off- there are 2 hidden behind the seat mounting.

Get a metal coat hanger & straighten it out, at the bottom bend it to make a U shape, push the hanger down the window on the side of the lock, & juggle the rod about, this does work but you have got to have patience, the alternative, remove the seat from it's base.
