bmw R1200GS paint

My husband dropped his bike and scratched the tank i know the paint codes (tanks red frame metallic grey) but cant seem to find a shop which does the specific paints in touch up kits online does anyone know where i can look? Its three layers for the red a base the red and laquer on top. this bike is doing my nut in lol more hassle then its worth, oh and where can we get a battery for it cheap the one in it is pretty much snuffed and need a new one fairly cheapish tia x

This site is about as good as it gets. But some bikes have non standard colours and really the only solution is to take the bike to a specialist paint shop and get them to match the paint.

3 layer paint is not a 'touch up ' job you need to repaint the whole thing from scratch. Cost will be in the high £100s to £1,000s .
My Brother has a BMW R1200 and the sky is the limit as far as customising goes, he has spent over £5000 so far and it has not been on the road yet!

Thanks Eddie, 951 is the red and 934 for the grey, i know they cost the earth to repair, the new gear changing arm thingy was £50 and we had one service which cost £1,000 because someone tried siphoning the tank and left the tube in wrecking the electrics! Battery has prob been in there since new so thats now 8 years old. Joys of motorbiking worse then kids
