Anyone advise me about how to go about changing a Relay on a 2002 Focus. Brake Stop Lights not working, so I changed bulbs to no effect, been told it is probably the Relay,I thought all lights were controlled by Fuses, obviously I am wrong. Many Thanks for any replies.

Check that the Brake pedal is pressing the Brake light switch, I doubt it's the Relay Ever.

Thanks TWR,I will try that, although I have pumped the brakes several times and the problem still persists.I only mentioned the Relay because "Mr.Helpful" across the road mentioned it to me. As you may have noticed my knowledge of cars is very limited. Thanks again.
I would change the switch Ever, they seem more prone to go rather than the relay. they are not the expensive to bye from your local Auto spares shop.

I hate to sound a bit thick,TWR but, where is switch located?
not sure there actually is a brake light relay as such, more often than not its the switch as said, its under the dash above the brake pedal..
