the last three letters of my reg plate are R S A where was the car originally registered going by these letters?

If you have the new style plate ( AB 05 ABC) the last three letters are random. The place of registration is given by the first 2 letters. If you have an old style plate (A 123 ABC or even earlier ABC 123 A) the last 2 letters of the three letter group are the place of registration.
