Bold words from a man who will never have to take up a weapon and fight these tyrant states.

One thing is certain Cameron isn't after a 'Nobel Peace Prize'.

"He will tell leaders: ‘You can sign every human rights declaration in the world but if you stand by and watch people being slaughtered in their own country when you could act, then what are those signatures really worth? The UN has to show that we can be not just united in condemnation, but united in action."

He is dead right.
Its frightening what this gung-ho politician will get up to next. To get the UN backing for any military adventure is a cloak for further action in any part of the world. He doesn't seem to know or even care about our financial situation. We can't and shouldn;t be the policemen of the world. Sooner or later you will meet with someone with bigger fists than ourselves and then we approach World War III. Even the minnow countries sometimes have the backing of a major power and then we will be out of our depth. Someone should put him in his place. Its no use asking Blair he had the same intentions.
Did the man who invented the door knocker get the "No-Bell Peace Prize"?
Demanding that regimes face up to the responsibilities they sign up to with regard to human rights doesn't say that you are ready to invade or bomb at the slightest provocation. And actually, perhaps he needs to make that clearer.
