hi fozzy, when you stop driving this is classed as other work your digital tacho will automaticaly revert to other work every time you stop driving and only record driving time when the wheels start turning, if you stop driving and are waiting eg, waiting to be loaded or unloaded this is a period of availability POA which you need to change manualy to the box with line through it this time can be accumalated and taken of your total working time to keep your working time down. please go to VOSA website to check on rules and regs you can also ask for a free copy of the eu regs from VOSA, i hope this has not totaly confused you but you ned to know if the police stop you or VOSA they will not take ignorance as an excuse, take care Russ
