Apache helicopter question

I have a question or 2 about the Apache AH-64D attack helicopter. Firstly how much does it cost? I have firstly been told that is about £9M and then £25M, but which figure is true? Secondly can it carry any external fuel tanks instead of Hellfire missiles or rockets? If so then would these not a target for enemies to shoot at?

I hope this question does not seem too odd, and thanks in advance for your kind replies.
