Check the level of the fluid in the power steering. If it's a bit low you'll notice an initial problem but it will disappear once the remaining fluid has been pumped around the system.

Chris
Has the Power Steering been leaking? has the fluid level gone right down? does the steering wscreech when turned? Power steering belt slack? have you the correct fluid in the P/S/System?
