Has anyone got one of these on their caravan? Are they any good please. Our 'van is stored on grass and we're finding it increasingly difficult to push when the ground is wet.

Yes a friend of mine has one he said they are great work very well.go to a caravan sales shop and ask for a demonstation.A few people have said they dont know why they never got one years ago.

Thanks very much - we'll do just that.
I cannot see that a hitch drive will help you move the caravan on slippy wet grass, it will just spin and slip as you would when trying to move it.

Yes we did wonder about that, we'd like to get hardstanding for it but there's nowhere local. Hey ho we'll just have to build up our muscles! Thanks anyway.
They are absolutely brilliant! They do work on slippery grass and slopes, when I think of the fun and games we used to have, usually ending with one of us face down in the mud, I can't believe we never got one before last year.
