Hello Toureman.......One hour and 5 minutes after asking the question, we have just found it - i n front of the fuel tank!! Thankyou very mych for your help.

This is a serious suggestion - you may be able to borrow a Haynes manual from a library. Invaluable if you want to start "fiddling" and aren't sure of your way round.
