i have a 2002 Porsche Boxster S and the car alarm keeps going off when it shouldn't. Has anyone experienced any similar problems and know what is wrong?
Please help before my neighbours stop talking to me!!

Check all doors and windows (including roof hood) closed properly. Not sure of alarm type but "voltage drop" and movement detection could be part of the system. Check connection to battery. Sorry, that's all I can advise on.

could be an electric sensor.
i had this happen a few years ago on a bmw and when it back under warranty they found a bonnet sensor was faulty which kept making the car alarm go off all through the night.
