Towbar query

I need a towbar to tow a trailer -it will never be used to tow a caravan. Until recently I would have wanted single electrics -but it seems that 13 pin sockets are slowly but surely replacing the old single./double electrics.
So do I get an old style single electric socket, a partially wired new 13 pin socket or a fully wired 13 pin socket -or does it not matter because you can always get adaptors?

Thanks

If you are going to tow any type of trailer Bamberger, you will need lights etc otherwise you will get pulled. if you are going for a plug, go for a fully wired.
Fit a 12N standard towing socket. The 12S and new style single multi-pin has added extra services and is needed only for Auto rear fog cutout, split-charging, and refrigerator power, etc. Not what you need on a trailer.
