Clio Heater

My daughter has a mk2 clio 1993. The heater is not blowing any hot air I have drained the system and flushed it through with fresh water but it has'nt made any difference. Any ideas please?

It might just be broken and give it to a garage....

OR buy a Ferrari Daytona. :)
it is possible that there may be an air lock in the heater system. try draining the system and then refilling it with the front of the car facing uphill ( pour in the water/ antifreeze slowly ) also check to see or feel behind the heater control on the dash to see if any of the push rods have become disconected or loose.
Hi Richard, have you tried feeling the heater hoses to see if they are hot? if not 2 things to check, water in the system, thermostat needs replacing as it is not opening, you say you have flushed out the rad! just to recap the proceed-er i would go about it,Fill the system up with winter summer antifreeze, start the car up with the heater blowing in the hot position on the dial's, let the car run untill the tep gauge reaches the center check & feel if there is heat coming through the pipes, I think with a new Thermostat you will have sorted out the problem.
