Tax and tyres on a Mitsubishi Pajero 2.5 LWB

I'm "toying" with the idea of getting a diesel Miitsubishi Pajero 2.5 LWB ("Super Exceed" model) as they're now pretty cheap and I've always fancied one.

If I do get one, it'll be one registered around 2001-2003, which I believe will cost a maximum of 120 to tax for 6 months - is that correct?

However, I would imagine that the biggest expense may well be tyres, so can anyone please tell me what size/type of tyre they are fitted with (so as I can phone a local tyre-fitting company for prices)?

If anyone can give me an idea of how much a tyre would cost, too, that'd be great.
