bonnet release clio 1999

how do i open the bonnet release on my renault clio 1999 model, the cable has snapped at the catch end and i cant find anyway of opening or being able to get near the catch. if anybody knows pls answer cheers

Hi, drive the car on some ramps make sure you block the wheels for safety, look under the front end in the direction of the bonnet release catch, direct a long screwdriver in the area of the catch this in turn should release the catch.
