you may find its cheaper to have new valves fitted & head scim/pressure test if the valve guides aren't damaged bear in mind the valve guides can be replaced at a cost of aprox 10+vat each & you never usually need all of them replacing probably 8 of them exhaust usually but if all 16 need replacing you do the maths,i would get a price on recon head aswell & then decide what you want to do,but bear in mind if the recon head doesn't come with valves fitted there will be parts + labour involved for grinding them inn & then fitting them so make sure you look into it properly.most of the time unless the head is badly damaged i.e cracked it pays to rebuild it new valves etc.but if the head hasn't been removed yet id get it off & evaluate the damage/cost.
Ok, I assume it's 1.8 eco tech, your looking at an un known number of valves/valve guides, headset, headbolts cambelt kit (belt & pulleys)
In my experience these recon heads are rubbish, repair what you have, in Sth Yorks the quote would be less than 900 inc vat at worst, maybe half that at best.

Hope this helps
